The Department of Accounting Finance and Business Law supports the missions of the College and University by focusing on the higher educational needs of accounting and finance students in the region The programs are designed to help students advance their education in accounting and finance to become more productive citizens further their accounting and finance careers and to pursue advanced studies within a global environment Based on a broad business core the Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting BBA-Accounting and Finance BBA-Finance prepares graduates for entry positions in industry government and not-for profit organizations The Master of Accountancy MAcc program offers advanced accounting studies Both the BBA-Accounting and MAcc programs meet the accounting education requirements of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy
