Program overview
<p>The breadth of the Master of Arts in Communication program at the University of Dayton gives you the opportunity to shape your future — whether you pursue a doctoral degree or a professional career in a variety of fields including media production, health communication, public relations, business, or government.</p><p>Our 36-hour graduate program gives you a solid grounding in research, theory, message development and analysis. You also can choose to add more depth to your degree by completing one of our certificate programs.</p><p>We currently offer graduate certificates in Strategic Public Relations and Health Communication. Both certificates are offered exclusively online.</p><p>We also offer an interdisciplinary course of study that mixes complementary disciplines such as English, business, psychology or political science with your core work in communication.</p>
