Program overview

The Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) at the University of Dayton does much more than help you to meet the eligibility requirements to sit for the CPA exam. It prepares you to meet evolving employer demands for critical thinking, problem solving, and communication, with a strong ethical base. This on-campus program is designed primarily for students who have completed an undergraduate accounting degree and prefer a full-time, face-to-face program of graduate study with small class sizes (normally 10 to 25 students). A full-time student can complete the degree in one year or less. For example, through the Bachelor's Plus Master's Program, a UD undergraduate accounting major can concurrently complete an undergraduate accounting degree and the MPAcc in four to five years. The degree may also be completed on a part-time basis. Non-accounting undergraduate business majors may also apply for the program; however, prerequisites are required.
